Privacy
Short version: Sleeps Until does its counting entirely in your browser. We run no accounts, ask for no email address, and store nothing about you on a server.
What happens when you use the site
Every countdown — including the custom ones — is calculated locally on your device from the date in the page. When you create your own countdown, the name, date and symbol you enter are placed in the page's web address (the URL) so the link can be shared; they are not sent to or stored by us. If you share that link, whoever opens it will see the same name and date, because they are inside the link itself.
Like most websites, the hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as the pages requested and the type of browser) for security and reliability. Those logs are not used to identify individual visitors, and we do not sell or share visitor data with advertisers.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. If that ever changes — for example, to measure which countdowns are most loved — this page will be updated first, and any measurement will stay anonymous and aggregate.
